KUNIGSGOROD - After a long consultative process between eight government departments, The Royal Kingdom of Trimblestan has concluded the purchase of a new patrol vehicle. The new vehicle is human-powered and combined with previously purchased royal transportation to form a patrol unit within the Department of Security. The two bicycles form 1 Patrol Maneuvers Team under the Royal Kingdom of Trimblestan Ground Defense Forces. The Sovereign, His Majesty The King Andre I announced the formation, "Today is a great day for The Royal Kingdom of Trimblestan. With two bicycles, we finally have an opportunity to defend our borders in a more effective manner. While other nations may patrol using pollution generating vehicles, the Department of Culture, Department of Energy, and Department of Environment were keen to see our nation lead the way in green military advances."
The Sovereign, His Majesty The King Andre I, the commander of the Royal Kingdom of Trimblestan Defense Forces, continued "Before we created 1 Patrol Maneuvers Team, we had one patrol bicycle which, frankly, wasn't an effective patrol vehicle. By adding a second bicycle, an 18-speed no less, we can respond much quicker to emergencies within the Royal Kingdom. Our trusty Giant Conway 1.0 will form an essential role within 1 Patrol Maneuvers Team to maintain the number of patrols and keep the security of the Royal Kingdom's borders. The Department of Finance is also enthusiastic about the Momentum Semola 1.0 patrol bicycle allowing us to reduce military maintenance costs by reducing the number of patrols per vehicle."
The new patrol bicycle will compliment the currently fielded patrol bicycle. The new Semola will fill a fast response void left by the Conway's lack of mobility. The new patrol vehicle has 18 speeds and has proven much more effective in acceleration, top speed, and ability to overcome inclines. This will be pared with the Conway which has a greater capacity for cargo for defensive, search and rescue, and general needs.
